Garvagh Man Sentenced For £20K Fraud And Theft From Employer

A Garvagh man has been sentenced to 200 hours of community service at Antrim Crown Court after pleading guilty to charges of fraud by abuse of position and theft.
Christopher White (40) was also ordered to pay a compensation order for £20,126.
Detective Sergeant Higgins said: "The offences occurred on dates between 1st May 2021 and 25th May 2022 when he ordered stock during the course of his employment and took it home or sold it on. He also stole diesel from fuel pumps at the employer's premises in Garvagh.
"We will continue to work tirelessly to bring offenders before the courts for this type of fraudulent crime."
