Harold McCloy Launches Judicial Review Over £20m NW200 Paddock Hotel Approval
May 12, 2025
Causeway Coast and Glens planners are once again facing a judicial review after green-lighting a £20 million hotel at the NW200 paddock. Officials have been formally notified of impending legal proceedings by the current occupant of an adjacent property, which was formerly owned by Jim Allister.
Allister himself, the North Antrim MP, initiated two previous challenges that resulted in planning permission being overturned.
The new action has been brought by mid-Antrim businessman Harold McCloy, who, like Mr Allister, resides in the area.
